Ultimamente sto leggendo molti commenti negativi sulla griso, vorrei condividere con voi quanto ha scritto Ben McIntyre a proposito del suo viaggio dalla Gran Bretagna all'Australia.
One year on the road today! 27000km. London, France, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Georgia, Armenia, Iran, Pakistan, India, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore. What a trip!
Friendliest country? Iran, with every other country tied for 2nd.
Asked if I'm married? 300 times
Asked how many km/litre? 300 times
Pulled over by police? Once, no fine
Bike problems? Clutch went day before service. Changed fluid, fixed it. That's it, the only problem other than regular servicing. It is obviously the world's most reliable adventure bike. No punctures. Fuel has never been on reserve.
Best motorcycling roads? Malaysia
Highlight of the trip? There are many but where I am now, Parenthian Islands, Malaysia.
The most amazing thing I have discovered is how peaceful and friendly the world is. OK there are trouble spots to avoid like Syria, Iraq and getting pulled over by police in merica, but every single day without exception I have been met with amazing friendliness and generosity of the people in every country I have been in, especially including the Muslim countries I have been in. So ignore the bullshit that western media feeds you, get out there and explore this wonderful, friendly world of ours..
