Bleeder link.
It's a spring loaded one way valve so you don't have to mess about with spanners while changing the fluid.
For the clutch you simply connect the one way valve to the bleed nipple and run the discharge side into a container. Remove the lid of the master cylinder reservoir and clean out the meth lab you'll find in there. Make sure you don't get any of the old fluid on the bike's paint!
Then fill the reservoir with new DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 fluid, (Not DOT 5!), open the bleed nipple on the hose and GENTLY pump the clutch lever. Do NOT pump it vigorously or it will spurt brake fluid up, out of the reservoir!
Continue to pump and keep topping up the reservoir until fresh, clear, fluid comes out of the nipple on the bleeder hose, then tighten the nipple, put its cap back on and tuck it back in its bracket.
Fill the reservoir to about mid way in the level window and then take the diaphragm and cap off the reservoir, wash them with water and dry them thoroughly and reinstall them on the reservoir.
Finally rinse the whole of the outside of the master cylinder with fresh, clean water,(You can use a small amount of detergent in it if you wish but it isn't necessary.) if you don't do this the crappy black paint on the Brembo master cylinder will flake and peel off and look disgusting!
Job done!
Brakes are the same apart from the fact the nipples are on the calipers. On bikes with ABS it is important not to run the reservoirs dry when bleeding as if you get air in the pump it is a lot harder to purge. The trick is to bleed the whole system and then go out and brake hard enough to cycle the ABS pump. Once this is done it purges the pump fluid into the rest of the hydraulic circuit and a repeat bleed of the system will purge it from the system.
